The first one I've purchased is from the OPI San Francisco collection.
I especially love it when they come out with a collection from a place I've been to. I got to visit San Francisco the summer of my junior year in high school.
I got to see fisherman's warf and Alcatraz (from afar), I got to ride in a trolley (and sing the "Rice-er-oni" theme over and over). I even got to ride in a cab down that really windy street (I forget the name). But the thing I remember most about it was the wind and the fog.
It was very windy that day. All the pictures my dad took of my mom, sister and I have our hair blowing completely sideways into our faces. I remember getting to wear a dress that was basically spaghetti strap.
I wasn't allowed to wear spaghetti strap, so this gray dress with it's 2 inch wide straps and ill fitting body, it was my favorite and made me feel so grown up.
I also remember not being able to see the Golden Gate Bridge very clearly because of the fog, so the fact that #thisweeksnails are named "Haven't the Foggiest" from the San Fran collection is so fitting.
And the fact that it's a metallic silver? Well that just makes me feel close-to-spaghetti-strap cool all over again.
