You Wearing You

Things I'd rather do than continually hear a woman say she bought something because, "that's what they're wearing these days":

1. Write out the "A" section of the dictionary with my right hand (I'm a lefty by the way).
2. Sprinkle grass onto my spaghetti and eat it.
3. Lick a cork board from top to bottom.
4. Stick a pencil up my nose.
5. Light my carpet on fire.
Why so extreme? Because you can't get to know YOUr style by allowing someone else to dictate your wardrobe.

Remember a couple posts back when we took the "war" our of your wardrobe? Well the best way to do that is to arm yourself with knowing what YOU like. Get a feel for what you want to wear before you go into the store and see what's out there.

Go into your closet, pick out two of your favorite outfits (one fancy, one casual) and think about why you like those looks.
Are they flattering?
Do they portray YOU the best?
How do they do that?

Solidify those answers before you walk into a single store so that next time you do, you can walk in boldly declaring what you want to wear, not looking to a mannequin to give you an answer!

You're gorgeous, go find ways to wear the true you!
