-Buy for the size that you are, not what you want to be.

I've heard the question a lot, "should I buy for the size I am now, or the size that I want to be?"

Buy for the size that you are.  Even if you are on a diet and working out everday all day in an effor to loose weight, you just never know when it's going to drop off so the safest bet is buy for the size you are now.

If you do buy for the weight you want to be, and let's say you reach that weight in 3 months, who's to say you're still going to want to wear what you bought? Or what if it doesn't necessarly flatter your new shape?

There's just too many risk factors. Now, if it's really cute and on clearance on top of clearance then maybe consider it (I did that once with a peice of furniture and saved it for years and years and years for when I moved out into my own place, and guess what I never used it). Just be hyper critical when you start to consider something like that.

If there is something hanging around in your closet right now that you're saving for a skinny day, you might want to consider adopting it out. There are plenty of people out there, I'm sure, that would be happy to give it a loving home.
