Primer for your face. It's just like a base coat for your nails-it helps the next product (the main one) go on smoothly, and stay on longer. (Ps: If you're not using base coat for your nails you totally should *see reasons in the sentence prior).
So back to primer for your face.
The most important thing you should remember, is the primer should be packed with good stuff because it is what you're putting on your face first every morning (swiftly followed by moisturizer by the way, primer does not take its place).
My favorite primer is by Arbonne. Their primer is full of vitamins that help your skin, it goes on smoothly, and it provides the perfect canvas for your foundation.
There are other primers out there, the goal is to find one that's good for your skin. The Arbonne one lasts about 6 months so if you do buy it know that you won't have to keep buying it over and over again.
But if you don't use one at all, start with one from the drug store and see what you think, get in the habit and go from there.
