Sisters

This weekend my sister is closing the chapter on a long walk of faith, with a walk down the isle.

I'm beyond thrilled for her, and not just because she's my sister.

Sure we started as sisters, with me always begging to sleep in her bed and wear her clothes. There was that gray area where she was like a third parent (that was fun). Then we moved to teacher and student, a transition most sisters don't have to make. We've got some good stories from that one (like that one time she gave me detention).

Now, she's not just my sister. She's my best friend.

I'm thrilled for her, and so happy to see this thing that she's been believing for for so long, come to
pass in such a spectacular way.
