I can't think of better advice on this Christmas Eve.
That quote is from my Pastor, and it's one I want to keep tucked in my mind to bring out at those moments when you open a gift that you could never love, "A camo snuggie....how..."
Because it's not about what you do and do not open. It's about the heart of the person who spent time shopping, wrapping, and presenting something to you out of love.
Take pleasure in giving and put little stock in what you open (not little stockings, little "stock").
Remember tomorrow or tonight,
"Be thankful for everything, expect nothing."
