Happy Labor Day everyone!
I hope you're able to spend it not laboring (or at least laboring at something you love-like me, I'm cleaning out my closet).
In the past, today has been the expiration date for all your summer whites-but good news! Your whites still smell good (that's a poor attempt at a milk joke).
Fashion in our generation can best be defined with two words "rule breaking" which really makes me wonder what's next, but that's another blog.
It does make for a great time to love clothes, because there are few rules we have to follow. Not having to put away the whites after Labor Day is a great one to bask in. If you're someone who likes rules though (cough* Type A! cough* cough*) then make sure that you pair it with darker fabrics so as not to look too easy/breezy. Dark jeans and a black top with a patterned heal would be magnifico!
Or white pants and a black turtle neck would be sharp (especially since the black on bottom white on top combo looks more like a waitress).
Moral is: don't labor at putting those whites away just yet!
Enjoy the holiday :)
