Good Pluck With That...

Tweezers.

There is nothing pleasant about tweezers.  My face hurts every time I look at them, but I thank God for them because in their void we would all be a hairy mess.

Here are some ways to make your relationship with your tweezers a pleasant one.

Yesterday, remember, we figured out where our brows should begin, end, and arch.  Now that we know that we can get rid of all the hairs that violate those boundaries.

When you tweeze you must first be using the right tools.  A good pair of tweezers means the difference between trying to reach the same hair over and over with only redness to show for it, or grabbing and reaching a hair the first time with ease. "Tweezer man" makes a good one and is not that expensive. If you buy a good pair it will most likely be your last, so don't skimp on this beauty tool and look for one with an angled edge.

Ok, now when plucking, pluck the hair our in the direction that it grows.  This will help it to come out easier and will minimize redness.

And really the best tweezing advice I've ever received-e.v.e.r. is to apply some Ambesol on your brows before you pluck.  Ambesol is meant for numbing tooth pain, but does a darn good job at numbing your brows too so try it-it works.

Even MORE eyebrow goodness tomorrow :) Tune in!
